DAY ONE

We arrived at Seoul, Incheon airport at about 6am. It was cold & wet when we got here and remained so for most part of the day.
Our first Korean meal of the day was Udon soup. It was nice and warm, perfect for the cold weather.
Yummy Breakfast!
Breakfast: Soup Udon....... + kimchi!!!!!!!!

Lunch was a classic Korean dish.. look at the pictures below:

Lunch: Bimimbap(Korean claypot rice) and somemore kimchi!!!!!!

Dinner was equally yummy:

Dinner: The real "Seoul Garden" = table bbq (only one type of meat: pork) and EVEN MORE KIMCHI!

With our stomachs filled we started our Learning Journey!
First stop: DMZ (Demilitarised Zone)
Outside the 3rd tunnel
We didnt get to take pictures inside thanks to security.........................................................
But we rode a tram down the 3rd tunnel

At the DORA observatory:

Do you see the yellow line on the ground? We were not allowed to take photos after the yellow line.
Hence the only picture we could take of North Korea looks like this (the small buildings far far away):

Next we went to the Dorasan Railway Station where there weren't any trains.

After lunch we went to the Korean War Museum:

Our Final stop for the day: Han River Cruise.

Here are some pictures of the sights along the banks of the Han River and of us on the cruise.

FYI
Hi, we are fine and well and uber happy with the korean delicacies. As our schedule tomorrow includes a night in traditional korean lodge called "hanok", there will be a possibility that we might not have internet access. As such, tomorrow's report might be delayed! :) We were terribly busy with our homework (sigh) but we are given adequate beauty SLEEP.

Toodles!
